Getting people to the magic moment fast is the whole game right now. Every week the product gets more polish and the magic moment happens sooner in the free trial, and the funnel around it is being rebuilt so that excitement turns into sign-ins and returning users instead of one-time curiosity.
Funneling people into the magic moment
The infrastructure going in now exists for one purpose: funnel people into conversion. Whatever entry point someone arrives from — a social post, an ad promoting a product UX interview, or an educational video blog post — each carries a magic link or a free trial signup that pumps them toward seeing the magic happen in the chat example.
The magic itself is specific. A new user should see an agent reading information from one place and writing it to another: pulling data from Semrush, Ahrefs or Google Search Console, writing it to WordPress or Google Sheets, making a custom report. Users have been pretty clear that removing those painful processes from their lives is what they want to see.
Better tracking with sign-in first
Some things are changing on the product interview to support better tracking. New users will try signing in first, so more information gets collected and tracking improves. There is a second interview flow for LLM credits. The idea across all of it is to get people to the example as fast as possible — that is the challenge, and every piece has to work together toward it.
Returning users get a CTA
The free trial is the proof point: if people are coming back, that is interest. So returning users hit a step in the funnel that shows them a CTA. Coming back means they saw something worth returning for, and that is the moment to ask for the next commitment.
One-click referral ads for true believers
The referral program is designed to generate an ad inside the app. Because the user is signed up and connected to their social media, one click produces an ad that shares out with their referral code attached. Anyone who converts through it earns them revenue share — a deliberate mechanism to get the product talking about itself.
We want to impress people, show them some magic, make their life better, then show them how they can really make money. If we demonstrate that, that builds a lot of trust.
One open question is whether referral and revenue share should only be possible on a pro plan. The thinking: people paying for the product are the ones who believe in it and trust the delivery, so those are the people worth having talk about it. There is no shortage of offers from people with no interest in the product who want to promote it anyway — the pro gate screens for true believers instead.
Tuning the funnel
This is the big picture of the funnel as mapped out on Excalidraw, and it will require tuning. The pieces are in place — entry points, sign-in tracking, the magic moment, the returning-user CTA and the referral loop — and the cool part is having the tooling to refine each of them.

Hey, I'm Andrew, and this is, uh, go to market 12 with an update on strategy of what we've learned so far. It.
All ah, right we're going to go over strategy here and how this works. So we're getting a lot of infrastructure set up for this uh, to funnel people in uh, to conversion. Ah and we're. So what we're seeing is people are coming back for the free trial. Uh, they're interested, we're getting more excitement, we're getting more polish. Um, we're getting the magic moment up sooner. Um, they're seeing it sooner so, so there's been improvement like every week is what we're seeing. So what we are doing here is we want to funnel people into sign ins. So some things are going to change because we're going to do some better tracking in on the product interview. We're going to try having them sign in first so we can collect more information and have better tracking. Um, and then we have another one interview for LLM credits. So the idea is we have all these things that are going to funnel people in to show, get them to the example as fast as possible. Um, that is essentially uh what we want to uh, that's essentially what we want to do as fast as possible. And that's the challenge here. So what we're going to do is we're going to make sure that all these pieces are working together. So whatever they hit, if social media promotes a product UX interview or an ad promotes a product, uh UX interview or promotes a video blog post that we have where you know maybe this is education, they all have a magic link or a free trial sign uh up and that pumps people to seeing the magic happening on the chat example. So whatever it is like they come into the app, they we want to show them an agent reading information from one place, writing to another, that's the magic. So getting um, data from like Semrush or a refs or Google Search console, writing it to WordPress, writing it to um uh Google Sheets, making a custom report, that's what they want to see. They've been pretty clear about that. Um, they want that those painful processes uh, uh removed from their life so they get their free, they're gonna see it, they have the free trial. We want to see if they um, are coming back. M uh, if they're, they're returning to it we'll uh, have a step in here like if they come back we'll show them a cta. Um so if they return um, show them a CTA and then also this referral program and my idea is there to generate an ad because they'll be signed up um, to their social media. Um, so they connect to and then we generate an ad in our app that immediately shares. So what they can do is they can in one click of a button they get an ad generated and then it goes out to social media uh, with their referral code. So what that's going to do for them is that's the revenue share. And so if people start talking about our program, um, in any area landing social media they have a one click share that it is there has their referral code and if they bring in conversions then um, they get uh, uh, they get uh, revenue share because we want, we uh, and that's an idea to go um, uh to get people to go viral. So uh, get it to go viral because we want to impress people, we want to show them uh, some magic, make their life better and then show them how they can really make money. And that's what we do here. So if we demonstrate that that's going to be a lot of, a lot of trust there. So we impress them and then, hey, do other people want to know do you want to share um, in the revenue of the product, uh, with your referral? Um, and then of course you uh, know what I'm debating on is like that should only be possible on a pro plan. Um, so actually I think I might move this down here so there's incentive to sign up. Because really if you know, we only want people believing in this and trusting us. Like if we're delivering right on a pro, they should be. Those are the people who want to be. We want them talking about our product because they're paying for it. We don't want people, um, we don't want people that have no interest about the product, promoting the product and we get a lot of offers for those. Um, so yeah, there needs to be uh, we, we want to. This is basically a screen uh, before this so to find our true believers and uh, you know, know people that love our product. So this is, this is essentially uh, the funnel. This is going to be uh, it's going to require some uh, tuning. Um, but there's. We're going to have some pretty cool stuff here so we can uh, refine this. And of course that's the big picture of like all this stuff here. Right? Um, that is the funnel and that's on the Excalidraw. It.
